Design

The ROCKRIDER 340 was designed and created in France, at the B'Twin Village in Lille, by a team of experts and cycling enthusiasts dedicated to designing our mountain bike Sport Touring line. Production took place in different factories in Europe as close to our Decathlon stores as possible. More information available on our website:

Frame

Exclusive Rockrider 340 frame, with an upright position for multi-purpose use. Made from reinforced 6061-T4T6 aluminium that combines durability and low weight.Unisex, ""sloping"" geometry for both men and women.Painted with 3 coats of paint and varnished designs for long-lasting protection.

Front suspension

Suntour XCT front suspension with 80 mm travel and stiffness adjustment dial.Equipped with a mechanical spring and elastomer stoppers for maximum reliability and minimum maintenance.

Rear suspension

No rear suspension.

Drive train

Triple-chainring steel chainset (22/32/42 teeth) with a plastic guard.Shimano Tourney TY500 7-speed rear derailleur.Shimano TZ30 or Microshift MS22 front derailleur.SRAM MRX21 speed grip shifters, with speed indicators.SHIMANO TZ21 7-sprocket cassette, with 14 to 28 teeth.KMC Z51 chain that's wider for more durability.

Brakes

Front and rear V-brake system with a helical spring for more powerful braking.Aluminium mountain bike brake levers that require only 2 fingers to operate.

Handlebar/stem/steering/grips

Semi-raised mountain bike handlebar for added comfort while riding.600 mm wide steel handlebar that combines comfort and stability.Aluminium stem, 90 mm (XS / S / M) or 110 mm (L / XL), with a 10° angle for maximum comfort.Aheadset-type headset for greater shock resistance and more stiffness in turns.B'Twin Sport 100 grips have a soft-touch finish for better grip and extend the grip shifters.

Wheels

26"" B'Twin Alloy Single Wall wheel.Wide wheel with 36 spokes for greater durability and shock resistance.Quick-release on the front wheel for easier maintenance, transport and storage.Lock nut on back wheel to reduce risk of theft.

Tyres

New B'Twin All Terrain Dry mountain bike 26"" x 2.0 tyres known for their high performance (thanks to fast central tread) and good grip in the turns (thanks to side lugs).

Saddle / seat post

Exclusive, wider, ""hammock"" style B'TWIN ERGOFIT saddle for good distribution of pressure points to make it more comfy.Steel mountain bike seat post with a 29.8 mm diameter and 350 mm long.

Pedals

Bike comes with MTB platform pedals with bearings, made from hard resin for lower weight and greater safety (less aggressive in case of pedal that slips).
